Killer Elite (2011), directed by Gary McKendry, is an action thriller based on the novel The Feather Men by Ranulph Fiennes. The film follows Danny Bryce (Jason Statham), a former special forces operative, who is forced to come out of retirement to rescue his mentor, Hunter (Robert De Niro), who has been captured by a group of mercenaries. In order to free him, Danny must track down and eliminate a group of former SAS soldiers responsible for the death of a sheikh’s son.
