The Logline
Retired Detective John Kimble thought being a Principal would be a quiet desk job, but when a high-tech cartel lays siege to his elementary school, he must team up with his former partner and his fashion-forward, heavily-armed wife to turn the playground into a fortress.
The Extended Synopsis

The Disciplinarian Class is back in session—and the detention is lethal. Decades after going undercover, John Kimble (Arnold Schwarzenegger) has fully embraced the education life. He is the grittiest, most feared Principal in Oregon. He doesn’t send kids to the office; he is the office. He patrols the halls with the presence of a tank, ensuring that running in the hallway is the only crime committed on his watch.
The Evolution of Joyce But the real shock is Joyce Palmieri (Penelope Ann Miller). She has shed her innocent teacher persona to reveal a stunning, tactical mastermind. After thirty years married to Kimble, she has learned a few tricks. Dressed in sharp, high-fashion suits that conceal ceramic knives and tactical flashbangs, she rules the School Board with an iron fist and a seductive danger. No longer the damsel, she stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Kimble. Whether she is organizing the Fall Bake Sale or dismantling a mercenary squad in the library, her elegance is matched only by her marksmanship. She proves that the most dangerous thing in school isn’t the cafeteria food—it’s her.

The Threat The peace is shattered when a ruthless, high-tech cartel infiltrates the academy to kidnap the son of a visiting Senator. They think it will be an easy grab. They didn’t check the faculty roster.
The Lunch Lady with a Grenade Launcher Completing the deadly trio is Detective Phoebe O’Hara (Pamela Reed). Coming out of retirement with chaotic energy and a heavy weapons duffel bag, she poses as the school’s eccentric Lunch Lady. When the lockdown alarm rings, she trades the hairnet for a minigun.
The Showdown The school becomes a battlefield of wits and bullets. Kimble and Joyce turn everyday school supplies into weapons—using gym equipment, science lab chemicals, and the PA system to divide and conquer the intruders.
Why This Pitch Works

- The Nostalgia: Seeing Arnold back in his most family-friendly role, but with an aged, “Old Man Logan” grit, strikes the perfect balance for modern audiences.
- The Twist: Transforming Joyce into a badass is a brilliant move. It changes the dynamic from “protector/protected” to a “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” power couple vibe.
- The Setting: Die Hard in an elementary school. The contrast between colorful murals and intense action is inherently funny and cinematic.
